Herbal Consultations

A Consultation with a Clinical Herbalist Offers the Space to Explore All Aspects of Your Health

A session with me is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Everyone is truly unique, and I am happy to work with you exactly where you are. This is an opportunity to deepen your relationship with yourself and discover new ways to bring encouraging and natural gifts into your life every day for true healing, growth, and transformation. You may be new to herbal medicine and have questions on where to begin or simply need confirmation for what you've already started. I am here to help guide you along the way.

The initial consultation session provides clarity of the current situation and healing process and also the foundation for your true self. The information gathered during this time helps to recognize the pathway that spans across multiple modalities and medical systems. The session cost includes the time for a complete health and history review, plus any additional time needed after our session for additional research, analysis, and formulation. My work for you continues after our session. I will cross reference herbal actions specific to your needs, noting any contraindications, especially if you are currently taking prescription medications or have been diagnosed with a medical condition. Once the initial session is complete, we can continue working with standard consultations and follow-up sessions.

Herbal consultation sessions do not include the cost of herbal products or supplements. Herbal formulations are unique to each individual and can vary greatly. All formulations are made with therapeutic-grade herbs and extracts used throughout Western Herbalism, Ayurveda, and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). As a clinical herbalist, I can also recommend vitamins, minerals, and other therapeutic supplements as needed.

Consultations are by appointment only and are currently being offered on a part-time, seasonal basis. Once your session is reserved, I will send you forms to complete and return before your session begins. If this is not an easy option, we will review and cover this information together during the initial session. You can securely send your forms and any other related attachments (i.e. diagnosis, bloodwork, lab results, etc.) through my contact page or by email at info@trinityherbs.com.

Sessions can be scheduled for the following days and times listed below however other days and times can be available, so I encourage you to get in touch! Understanding Herbal Synergy

Many modern herbal products focus on single-herb extracts, making them easy to find in health food stores and markets. These single-herb options are a great starting point for beginners exploring herbal medicine, allowing them to experience the benefits of a particular plant without overwhelming the body. They also help individuals understand how they respond to different herbs. However, while single-herb extracts are widely available, they don’t always showcase the full potential of herbal medicine. That’s where herbal synergy comes in.

Herbal synergy is the practice of blending multiple herbs into a well-balanced formula—like tailoring a custom-fitted suit—to enhance the effectiveness of treatment. When combined, herbs can work together to improve absorption and potency. Some ingredients help boost circulation, while others temper the stronger effects of certain herbs, creating a more harmonious blend. A thoughtfully crafted formula can amplify benefits, reduce unwanted side effects, and even minimize interactions with medications, leading to better overall results.

This concept isn’t unique to herbal medicine—it’s the same idea found in nutrition. For example, eating vitamin C-rich foods, like oranges, alongside iron-rich vegetables, such as spinach, helps the body absorb iron more efficiently. Similarly, whole foods like apples—containing fiber, vitamins, and antioxidants—provide more health benefits than isolated supplements. It’s all about how different components work together to maximize their impact.

In herbal medicine, combining complementary herbs into a well-designed formula can address multiple aspects of a condition, offering a more well-rounded approach to healing. Instead of using one herb for one symptom, a good herbal blend works holistically to support overall wellness.
